Winning the hearts of the nation through their stint on a reality TV show, Toshi & Sharib rose as the sought after musicians in Bollywood having given blockbuster tracks Mahi Mahi from Raaz 2 & other Bollywood films & now gear 
up to release their non filmy album ‘French Kiss’; an initiative by Bluenote Entertainment.
Prashant Kumar, MD; Bluenote Entertainment takes up the initiative to release the musical duo’s upcoming album French kiss, he mentions, “Sharib & Toshi are powerhouse singers. Our youth loves them & apparently French Kiss was formed as the duo’s fans coaxed them to come up with something soon. Not only managing but Bluenote has even produced the album. It is a delight to work with such singers & music directors.”
Be it Qawwali or Pop, the brothers Toshi & Sharib have carved a niche for them & have managed to create a loyal fan base & for them the duo wanted to bring something different, non filmy music to connect more closely with their fans.
Prashant Kumar further adds, “Toshi & Sharib have fans worldwide especially hailing from Middle East, Pakistan & UK who have been following these young artistes right from the beginning of their musical career. It was a pressure on them to create something new & here comes French kiss… this album consists of 5 OST & 1 remix. It is a mix of hip hop, dance, and Sufi & Romantic songs.”
Talking about the album launch on the 27th of November with fanfare, Kumar mentions, “Last year we brought Grammy winner Sean Paul to India & this year Toshi & Sharib. We are happy to be associated with such artistes and we want to create platform for such talented people on an international level.”
