Pak troops violate ceasefire; resort to firing on Indian posts in Poonch sector

In Jammu and Kashmir Pakistani troops again violated ceasefire today by resorting to unprovoked firing on Indian forward posts in Poonch sector. According to defence Spokesperson, S.N.Acharya, Pakistani troops started indiscriminate firing on Indian forward posts in Doda battalion area of Poonch sector at around 9.30 am today. Pak troops used small and automatic weapons.Indian troops guarding the border retaliated effectively. Exchange of fire between the two sides was still going on when reports last came in. There was no loss of life or injury to anyone from the Indian side. This is the 47th ceasefire violation by Pakistan troops since last month on the Line of Control and International Border in Jammu Sector.
