Kollam: Incepto, the technical festival intended to prop up technical talents budding in various campuses, is organizing its 12th edition at Tangal Kunju Musliar (TKM) College of Engineering, Kollam. The two-day student’s conclave slated to commence tomorrow is expected to attract young, promising technical brains from a range of technical institutions across the state.
Explaining the concept and objective of Incepto Dr. Sudhi Mary, an engineering talent and the prime organizer of the event said, “Incepto is expected to provide a perfect podium for young engineers to bring out their innate aptitude. Technology in its own way is ever changing with the latest innovations boggling our wildest imaginations. Here, at Incepto 13, we attempt to bring out the brightest intellects with their spectacular creativity, imagination and charisma.”
In fact, Incepto is the brainchild of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), a national, professional, non-profit Society. Established in 1968 with its headquarters at Delhi, ISTE promotes activities to advance the cause of technological education. ISTE assists and contributes in the production and development of top quality professional engineers and technicians needed by the industries and other organisations. Being the only national organisation of educators in the field of Engineering and Technology, ISTE effectively contributes in various missions of the Union Government. The Society represents more than 85,000 teachers, teacher educators, library media specialists, administrators, and decision makers. Its services focus on strategic, standards-based solutions for curriculum integration, technology planning, and assessment.
