Pune : This season Pune Fashion Week will witness the never seen before drama on its first day. Gorgeous Lisa Ray will be seen in a very new avatar walking for ‘ULKA SB by Ulka Bafna Vohra’ wearing her latest collection ‘NIRBHEEK’.
‘Nirbheek’ is the name given to India’s first gun for women. The literal meaning of the word is fearless, which, for us, represents the dynamic women of today. Having said that, the designer has an unending fascination for women who can handle power with integrity. Our societies have been fertile ground for many powerful women, but seldom have we seen it be gracefully adorned.
This collection will ambitiously aim to add a tasteful softness to the powerful woman of today. It will simplifiy these complex theories and incorporate them seamlessly in the fabric, embroidery and tailoring. Golden 3D flowers in hand embroidery will add a whimsical spirit, personifying hidden depths of sartorial elegance.
Urban tones like sparkling gold to rose red and mustard yellow to midnight blue will epitomize the story of ‘Nirbheek’ which is subtly subversive!
The collection will cherish the admirable integration of floor length lehengas, stylish saris, chic floaty anarkalis, and modern pre – draped saris. Mushy colours, exhaustive workmanship and sensual cuts best describe the ensemble. The designer is set to bring alive her unique individual interpretation through this collection. ‘’It will be all about conviction, and a look that screams lavishness’’, says Ulka.
The grandeur and opulence to be associated with this is not new for ‘ULKA SB by Ulka Bafna Vohra’ – A brand which is all about being EXCLUSIVE!
