At least 15 people have been killed in a shooting incident in Cairo, amid continuing unrest over the removal of Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi.
The Muslim Brotherhood said the army opened fire on a sit-in by supporters outside the Presidential Guard barracks where Morsi is thought to be held.
In Egypt, efforts are on to find the new interim Prime Minister of the country.
According to latest reports, the economist liberal leader and founder of Egyptian Social Democratic party, Ziad Bahaa Al din is tipped to be the new interim Prime Minister while Mohamed Elbardeii may be offered the post of Deputy PM.
A caretaker Government comprising leading technocrats from different walks of life and various political groups will be formed soon, to run the affairs of Egypt.
The country will prepare for early Presidential elections.
