In yet another incident of ceasefire violation, Pakistani troops resorted to heavy firing in Balakot sector of Mendhar area in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir Friday night.
A Defence spokespersons said, the forces from across the LoC started firing on Indian forward post around 8.30 PM Friday night.
The army troops guarding the borderlines retaliated the Pakistani firing effectively. The exchange of fire lasted for over one hour. There is no report of any casualty or injury to the Indian side.
