Sasural Simar Ka – The serial that airs on Colors TV every Monday to Saturday at 07:30 pm, premiered on April 25, 2011. Today the entire cast and crew Celebrated 1000 episodes in a 
grand style at ‘The Club – Juhu, in Mumbai.
The show is produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms and tells the story of two sisters, Simar and Roli, who end up in the same home by marrying two brothers, Prem and Siddhant. Simar (Deepika Samson) and Roli (Avika Gor) marry two brothers, Siddhanth and Prem, and move into the same home. Prem’s grandmother (Mataji) likes Simar’s homely nature. Marriage preparations begin in both families. On the day of the ceremony, Simar has an important dance competition. Roli tells her sister she will act as a stand-in bride for the duration of the wedding. But Prem marries Roli not knowing that it was Roli impersonating her sister and the story keeps changing like a bollywood movie every few episodes to keep the viewers enthralled and completes the Golden figure of 1000 Episodes and joining the elite 100 episode club in the TV industry.
Speaking on the occasion The entire team said that the success of the serial is because of Ms. Rashmi who has created a bonding between the whole team and created a family who comes to the set and enjoy playing their roles. The whole unit enjoys being with each other and behave more like a family who eats together and works together. In fact so strong is the bonding that even they are with their actual family, they miss each other.
Ms. Rashmi – the director of the serial thanked Mr. Raj Nayak – CEO of Colors for having faith in her and giving her the opportunity to air Sasural Simar Ka on Colors. She further added that the success is all because of her team and was confident that together the team will complete 2000 episodes.
