In Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan resuming heavy firing and shelling in R S Pura sector last night has caused uncertainty among the people along the international border.
They say that they are unable to harvest their paddy crop, reports Jammu correspondent.
Correspondent reports, the overnight heavy firing and shelling in RS Pura sector has dashed the little hope of the border people that soon there would be ceasefire along the entire International Border.
With continuous ceasefire violations by Pakistan, total uncertainty prevailed among the border people. Panic has gripped all the border villages and to minimize casualties the Government has been planning to construct pacca bunkers in border belt.
As the people of the border belt are mostly dependent on agriculture, the paddy crop is ready to be harvested but shelling from across the border has made the task impossible.
