New Delhi : Delhi woke up to an exciting Sunday as 14th Family Fun Car Rally was flagged off amidst great fun & frolic. A family drive event exclusively for Skoda car owners was 
flagged off from Tivoli Gardens, Chattarpur by ACP Delhi Traffic Police, Mr. Rishi Rana. The one-day event in the Capital saw an overwhelming response with around 100 decorated Cars coming together to promote “Safe Driving” and Traffic Sense among Delhi people, supported by Delhi Traffic Police.
The starting point was quite a spectacle with around 100 beautifully decorated cars with one single motto to make Delhi a safer place to live. The rally covered a total distance of 65 Kms covering India Gate, Cannaught Place and other parts of South Delhi. Participants were given an opportunity to collect lucky scores through randomly picking up points in sealed envelopes, solving puzzles and general knowledge riddles from various marshal booths scattered along the 65 km long route. The rally then traversed the Delhi roads finding the marshals & completing various tasks en route.

Secrecy about the final winner till the last participant crosses the finish line was maintained. The winning crown of 14th Family Fun Car Rally took over by Mr. Arun Gupta & his family with Car no. 43, Mr Vinod Mahajan Car no. 36 1st runner up and the second runner up position went to Mr. Nitin Sehgal with car no. 61. The winners were decided after adding up the points picked up by participants from various marshal booths. The winner for “Best Dressed Family” was Mr. Nitin Sehgal & Family.
This annual event proved to be a sought after event for people of all genres. It held the promise of fun, adventure and excitement all the way till the finishing point.
