Condé Nast India Launches Vogue on Flipboard

New Delhi: Condé Nast India and personal magazine Flipboard officially launched their partnership in India,making original cFlipboard iPad + iPhone 300x300 Condé Nast India Launches Vogue on Flipboardontent from India’s leading premium lifestyle brands including Vogue India, GQ India and Condé Nast Traveller India available to Flipboard readers. Readers can easily find Vogue India in Flipboard’s Content Guide by tapping on the red ribbon; GQ India and Condé Nast Traveller India will follow in the coming weeks.

With special integration and pagination of each title’s stories, photos and features, Flipboard creates an immersive reading experience, quickly connecting the reader with the Condé Nast brands and content, the same way as with its established print and digital magazines.

“Flipboard introduced its Indian edition in October 2013, with a custom Content Guide filled with handpicked selection of magazines, newspapers and blogs representing key local voices, as well as global perspectives. “It is another milestone for our fast growing digital business to extend our made-for-online premium content available to Flipboard, reaching our sophisticated Indian audience and Non-Resident Indians on their iPads and smartphones,” said Mr. Marc-Oliver Hausen, Digital Director, Condé Nast India.

Condé Nast India is the first publisher to make content from its brands available on Flipboard in India. Leveraging Flipboard’s deep knowledge of mobile readers and extensive work on mobile platforms, the companies worked together to bring India’s leading lifestyle brands on board. To make discovery easy, the brands are featured individually as well as part of sections curated by Flipboard’s editorial team such “Style” and “Travel.”

Condé Nast India created customized feeds for Flipboard by adding high quality images and extending the amount of content available on its magazine and website; in most cases that means readers have access to full bespoke online stories. Flipboard readers can easily share stories to Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, Google+ or add them to their own Flipboard magazines.

Flipboard has more than 100 million readers worldwide of which more than half are based outside the United States. Flipboard is quickly gaining popularity in India: it entered the top ten for downloads and active readers last year. Flipboard is available in English, Hindi and over a dozen other languages.
