New Delhi : ERA Business School (EBS) one of the fastest growing B-Schools, adjudged Delhi’s top emerging Industry anchored B-schools by AICTE-CII Survey 2013 recently, organized its two-day long Annual Fest “Erabrations 2014” at their campus located at 
Dwarka yesterday. This year’s theme was “Empowering Women in step with time”.
Erabrations is the point of convergence for students from diverse streams across Delhi and NCR. A host of interesting activities were lined up for the two days, as students from various colleges across the City participated at the event.
Dodge Ball, Arm Wrestling, Pair Dance, Salad Making, Pool (Mixed Doubles), Solo Singing, Quiz, Table Tanis (Mixed Doubles), Nukkad Natak, Turncoat, Solo Dancing, I.T. Games, Film Presentation, face painting, Case study Event, Graffiti and Tug of War are some of the exciting events for this two-days fest.
This cultural extravaganza portrayed a cultural blend as students from various institutes and colleges like Zakir Hessian (Delhi University); Jims Kalkaji, Jims Noida, IIPM, Management Education & Research Institute (MERI), Bhartiya Vidyapeeth, Birla Institute of Management & Technology, Army Institute of Management & Technology, Jaipuria including Era Business School showcased their talents.
Commenting on the theme of Erabrations Dr. Sanjiv Marwah, Director of Era Business School said, “Erabrations aims to provide a common platform to all the students from different B-schools. Here boys and girls had shared the equal stage. This will definitely spread the message of gender equality that requires to be spread in whole nation.”
Erabrations is not about mere elocutions and debates but also amalgamation of various activities including cultural events and marketing games such as innovative case studies; where students simulated real life corporate situations; Games involving the never-ending tussle between the bear and the bull.
Competition like Film Presentation, nukkad natak, face painting, turncoat, dodge ball, salad making, business quiz, turncoat, tug of war, graffiti, solo signing, solo dancing not only highlighted the knowledge of students but also the confidence they had to connect to the audience.
IT Games Competition a unique game in this year Erabrations, which witnessed a battle between the teams slugging out on creative platforms, all the candidates participated in the event were judged on their creativity and organization of thoughts.
The highly charged and fun-filled festival provided a platform for the students to express their opinions, interact with other young minds and exchange ideas through a series of thought provoking and stimulating activities. The students worked with all passion and zeal for the fest and thereby learned the art of time management, planning and teamwork. This also stimulated confidence and leadership skills among students.
The main objective of organizing an event like this is to infuse team spirit amongst students, encourage healthy competition and also to highlight their own potential skills. Myriad social issues were also addressed through the events like Nukkad Natak and 
Graffiti Painting which dealt not only with safety of women, but also with the future of the nation. Students during the act come up with the issue about the problem women faced daily in their day to day life and also try to showcase some solution to this problem through their unique act.
More than 50 trophies and certificate were presented on the concluding day of the Erabrations held at Era Business School. The results of the various sports were announced during the prize distribution ceremony held in the EBS college ground. Dr. Sanjiv Marwah Director of Era Business School gave away the prizes to the winners of the “Erabrations 2014”.
Era Business School Team (A) won the overall first prize with prize money of Rs 51,000; while Era Business School (B) got prize money of Rs 31,000 and Bharatiya Vidyapeeth with prize money of Rs 21,000 won the first and second runner up respectively.
As a whole, the event was a gala success and covered all colors of festival wherein huge footfalls has been witnessed in terms of participation in various events.
