Attesting to the importance of sports and proper facilities for students, Mr Venkatesh Prasad, said, “It is a universally accepted fact that play is equal to academics in furthering the full development of a child. In a world which is growing sedentary by the day, inculcating an interest in games and the love of sports becomes the responsibility of all educational institutions. I am thrilled to be associated with this unique initiative from Educomp Childcare Pvt. Ltd., and appreciate the fervour, perseverance and outstanding performance put on display by these little champs. Little Millennium Kickers Club is a brilliant concept to introduce football to kids at an early stage. It brings added satisfaction that they are being provided with a safe environment and expert instruction. Besides teaching soccer’s technical skills, the program will definitely help in developing kinesthetic skills like discipline, mental ability, logistic intelligence, physical strength, and team spirit. I believe that children that go through this enterprise will turn out better, brighter individuals and I look forward to more such initiatives in this space.”
Speaking on the occasion Mr Raman Bajaj, Managing Director, Educomp Child Care Pvt. Ltd., said, “We would like to congratulate both our students and parents for their enthusiastic participation and display of zest and sportsmanship. The objective of the Kickers Club program is simply to motivate children to go out and play. The program revolves around a uniquely designed sports curriculum to energize childhood by fostering growth of mind, body, and spirit, which helps them become lifelong learners. We look forward to growing the Kickers Club initiative in Bangalore and taking it to other parts of the country.”
